Lakes Sky Ultra 2021

In the vets categories we have the following winners. The results show the Vet's 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and in brackets their overall places [There were 42 on the start line and 40 finishers]:

Female:

1. Lorna Broadhurst - 1st Female Vet (32nd) in a time of 12:37:38

Lorna had a cracking race and when crossing the finish line announced it was the hardest race she had ever done!

There were no more females in the Vets 45 category.

Male:

1. Edward Box - 1st Male Vet (9th) in a time of 09:14:20
2. Walter Henderson - 2nd Male Vet (11th) in a time of 09:31:49
3. Geoff Capps - 3rd Male Vet (15th) in a time of 10:09:41

All 3 male vets had a strong race and finished in great overall positions, staying in the top 40% overall.

Pinnacle Ridge Extreme 2021

In the vets categories we have the following winners. The results show the Vet's 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and in brackets their overall places [There were 47 on the start line and 43 finishers]:

Female:

1. Sarah Dunn - 1st Female Vet (30th) in a time of 06:38:19

Sarah ran another cracking race taking 1st female vets after winning the same position in the Scafell Sky Race.

There were no more females in the Vets 45 category.

Male:

1. Paul Cornforth - 1st Male Vet (5th) in a time of 04:37:30
2. Martin Cliffe - 2nd Male Vet (7th) in a time of 04:46:17
3. Kenny Short - 3rd Male Vet (16th) in a time of 05:41:04

Paul, Martin and Kenny all ran superb races, Paul finishing in the top 5, Martin in the top 10 and all 3 finished in the top 30% of the field.

All Vets 45 prizes will be posted to the respective winners at the start of next week.
