Accommodation Available At Event Centre

Following discussions with Lakes Sky Ultra™ partners, the University of Cumbria, we are pleased to announce that accommodation will be available on the Ambleside campus, minutes from the event centre in the Percival Lecture Theatre building (Campus Map). Given the compulsory pre-race briefing the evening before the race and the early start on race day, this will make life much easier for competitors.

There will be the following options:

• single rooms with a shared bathroom costing only £25,

• single ensuites at a cost of £32,

• twin rooms at £45 (ensuite twins are allocated on a first come first served basis),

• a selection of cottages available, one 6 beds, three 4 beds and two 5 beds - prices on application.

Anyone with a room booking will also have access to wi-fi internet and will receive a free parking permit (available on a first come, first served basis, although there are 100 spaces available).

Unfortunately there can be no provision made for camping or campers on site, however we are arranging parking and camping at a location in central Ambleside, details will be added to this news article soon.
